That is ok! That is part of the new patient bundle, to help you identify if you are peri or menopausal based on symptoms and labs. From there, a customized plan will be created for you.
There are a vast array of symptoms, some you may experience and others you may not experience. No two people experience this time of life the exact same way. In the perimenopause phase you may notice periods become heavier, longer, and irregular, or lighter and shorter, mood changes, libido changes, hair loss, fatigue, weight gain, skin changes, hot flashes, and many more. In the post-menopausal period, the symptoms above also can occur, minus the period issues. You may also experience joint pain, frozen shoulder is a phenomenon seen in the post menopause phase, brain fog and cognitive changes, and many more. During this phase this is when our risk of other health issues can arise due to lack of estrogen, such as osteoporosis, dementia, certain cancers, high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, and stroke.
We are a cash-based practice and do not accept insurance. This model enables us to provide the high-level, comprehensive, and personalized care that often isn’t possible within the traditional insurance-based system. By removing the limitations imposed by insurance companies, we can ensure that every patient has access to the necessary treatments and medications without unnecessary barriers. As a self-pay practice, we prioritize spending the time needed to truly understand your needs and deliver the quality care you deserve, free from the restrictions of the “sick-based model” of care.
At this time we cannot take patients with Medicare insurance for any of our services.
We accept credit/debit cards, HSA, and FSA. We do not accept cash, check, paypal, or venmo.
You do not need a discovery call. You can make your first new patient appointment without it if you know you are ready to move forward.
When navigating perimenopause and menopause, traditional care often focuses on quick fixes or symptom management, leaving many women feeling unheard and unsupported. At our cash-based health and wellness clinic, we take a different approach. We specialize in addressing the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause with personalized, root-cause-focused care. Our model allows us the time and flexibility to create customized solutions that prioritize your unique needs, from balancing hormones to improving energy, mood, and overall vitality. Here, you’ll receive the comprehensive, compassionate support you deserve to feel your best in every stage of life.
Perimenopause is the 5-10 years prior to menopause. The average age of menopause is 51, but some women can hit this as young as their late 30's or as late as their early 60's. Perimenopause and menopause share many of the same symptoms, so after discussing your symptoms and medical history, we will utilize extensive labs to help determine where you are on this spectrum. So, the easiest answer is any woman over 35 who thinks she may be in perimenopause. If you have been without a period for a year, this would be post- menopause, or if you have had a hysterectomy, you may be post-menopause.
Your new patient bundle includes a comprehensive 1-hour initial consultation and extensive lab work. This will help our specially trained provider know which program is right for you. In our PCOS program we have 3 program options to choose from, which is based on your labs results, goals, and symptoms.
Absolutely! Our weight loss program is part of our PCOS program packaging, but it is open to anyone. We have a program that includes hormonal and weight loss treatment together, or these can be done separately. We can discuss this more in detail at your first visit.
