PCOS is a complex condition with multiple underlying causes, including insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, hormonal imbalances (like elevated androgens), and disruptions in ovulatory function. Stress, poor sleep, and nutrient deficiencies can also play a role in exacerbating symptoms.
At Grace Vitality and Wellness, we focus on addressing these root causes rather than just managing the symptoms. Our program is tailored to your individual needs, with strategies to improve insulin sensitivity, reduce inflammation, balance hormones, and optimize lifestyle factors like nutrition, exercise, and stress management. By targeting the root causes, we aim to restore your body’s natural balance and support long-term health and vitality.
Supplements and medications can play a supportive role in managing PCOS, but our primary focus is on addressing the root causes through lifestyle changes and personalized care. Depending on your specific needs, we may recommend evidence-based supplements to support hormonal balance, improve insulin sensitivity, reduce inflammation, or address nutrient deficiencies commonly associated with PCOS.
In some cases, medications may be necessary, such as for regulating cycles, improving fertility, or managing insulin resistance. If medications are needed, we carefully evaluate your options and collaborate with you to create a plan that aligns with your health goals. Our goal is to minimize reliance on medications where possible and empower you with sustainable strategies for long-term health and symptom management.
We are a cash-based practice and do not accept insurance. This model enables us to provide the high-level, comprehensive, and personalized care that often isn’t possible within the traditional insurance-based system. By removing the limitations imposed by insurance companies, we can ensure that every patient has access to the necessary treatments and medications without unnecessary barriers. As a self-pay practice, we prioritize spending the time needed to truly understand your needs and deliver the quality care you deserve, free from the restrictions of the “sick-based model” of care.
At this time we cannot take patients with Medicare insurance for any of our services.
We accept credit/debit cards, HSA, and FSA. We do not accept cash, check, paypal, or venmo.
You do not need a discovery call. You can make your first new patient appointment without it if you know you are ready to move forward.

Perimenopause is the 5-10 years prior to menopause. The average age of menopause is 51, but some women can hit this as young as their late 30's or as late as their early 60's. Perimenopause and menopause share many of the same symptoms, so after discussing your symptoms and medical history, we will utilize extensive labs to help determine where you are on this spectrum. So, the easiest answer is any woman over 35 who thinks she may be in perimenopause. If you have been without a period for a year, this would be post- menopause, or if you have had a hysterectomy, you may be post-menopause.
Your new patient bundle includes a comprehensive 1-hour initial consultation and extensive lab work. This will help our specially trained provider know which program is right for you. In our PCOS program we have 3 program options to choose from, which is based on your labs results, goals, and symptoms.
Absolutely! Our weight loss program is part of our PCOS program packaging, but it is open to anyone. We have a program that includes hormonal and weight loss treatment together, or these can be done separately. We can discuss this more in detail at your first visit.
Weight loss can be challenging with PCOS because of the underlying hormonal imbalances that disrupt your metabolism, including insulin resistance, elevated androgens, and inflammation. These factors can make your body more prone to storing fat, particularly around the midsection, and can also cause intense cravings, low energy, and difficulty building muscle.
Our program is specifically designed to address these unique challenges. We focus on improving insulin sensitivity, balancing hormones, and reducing inflammation through personalized nutrition, targeted exercise plans, and stress management techniques. By addressing the root causes of weight retention and providing tools tailored to your body’s needs, we help you achieve sustainable, long-lasting weight loss while improving overall health and vitality.
